As official photographs of the impending "Georgetown" colorway appear, the Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 begins its third year of production in 2022. Nike brings back a classic with this collegiate navy/tech grey combo on the Air Jordan 1, applying it to the most faithful recreation of the original 1985 model we've ever seen, following the launch of the "New Beginnings" and "Varsity Red" in 2020 and the "Neutral Grey" in 2021.
The upper is made of excellent flat leather in the aforementioned Georgetown colors, which complements the classic color-blocking style well, while the nylon tongue has a slight yellow tint, alluding at the spongy inside cushioning.
The insoles and internal lining match the college grey, while the midsole is white with a crisp cut. The Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 "Georgetown" also comes with a folded card outlining the shoe's technical specifications, as well as an OG-style shoebox. The Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 "Georgetown" is set to release in April 2022 for $200; more information can be found in the official photographs below.
