Summer follows spring, then comes fall. Seasonal collections are part of Nike's promotional strategy. Nike has been commited to releasing a number of Air Jordan releases in the Fall of 2022, but the company is on a quest to generate buzz for its summer collection. A recently-released Air Jordan 1 Mid in an off-white and indigo shade is likely the brand's latest attempt to do so.
The new sneakers, which include a mix of suede, tumbled leather, and canvas materials, have a "Coconut Milk"-like tone throughout the majority of the top, similar to certain alternatives under the Nike Sportswear domain.
The mid-top Jordan 1's use of non-standard fabrics, experimental dyeing at the laces and collar, and semi-recycled rubber outsoles could lend themselves to a number of other products from the North American business, but no one involved has revealed whether or not the refreshing arrangement is part of an expansive spring or summer-ready collection. The "Wings" logos on the lateral ankle flap add to the indigo flair of the shoes, helping to introduce more fashionable design elements into the 1985 silhouette.
