Concepts had an active 2021, as the shop proceeded to release collaboration after collaboration till the end of the year. This enthusiasm is thankfully being carried through into 2022, and then enhanced for not one, but three separate Nike Air Max 1 versions. Though the project's contents have been kept under wraps for a long time, these freshly released official photographs suggest that we're getting close to seeing it. While it seems quite similar to the pair shown on Deon Point's Instagram, this colorway has a few differences that make it standout.
For example, the cow-patterned fake fur across the vamp has been changed to a more basic black and white palette, and the denim down the quarter has been altered as well, with an acid treatment added to its lightwash. Further down, the gently speckled sole and olive ripstop mudguard have been preserved, as has the velvet over the tongue, as well as the bandana and tribal designs at the back.
