The South Korean scene is having more time in the spotlight, and we're that seeing in more Korean sneaker and fashion releases.

The references are more direct rather than clouded by obscure design as seen in the part. It's not watered down or mixed in with western concepts, as if that won't sell. 

We're seeing full on Korean culture here, the taeguki(flag) colors of blue and red creatively applied on the uppders, above white tiger stripes, and Korean writing on the midsoles.

There's some english there with "Vans Off The Wall" appearing on the heel.
