The Nike and Virgil combination have a reputation for super successful sneaker releases, and this latest one is looking like a sell out. Clothed in its fourth colorway University Gold, the Off-White Air Force 1 leather version is rumored to launch next month, July.
Virgil Abloh's popular sneakers will release in tandem with an event run by him in Boston. They say history repeats itself so you can expect the Off-White Air Force 1 "Gold" to sell lightning fast, a little too fast so be ready for that.
Demand for the sneakers will perhaps inspire a raffle at launch, something fans can lookout for and thus test their chances. Official images of the Air Force 1 showoff the sneakers stand out colorway. Let's take a closer look.
Upon inspection you will see it is constructed of leather with sponge material at the tongue and ankle, as if cut open. A stiched on white swoosh adds to the aesthetic with the threading being of a dark yellow. There's writing on the sneakers that adds some character.

The Off-White Air Force 1 "University Gold" will likely launch in July in harmony with the ICA Boston event.
