The iconic yellow and purple team have had iconic players since the 70s into the 21st century. Likewise Nike has had iconic sneakers since the 70s up to this time. They're releasing the Nike Dunk High EMB "Embossed". The retro detailing references back to the days when Nike was making a name for itself in the athletic footwear category.
Let's take a closer look at the Nike Dunk High EMB. The "Embossing" effect can be seen on the heel, upon a purple leather overlay. "NIKE" is lettered black in a bold Lakers font with a yellow outline. The yellow continues with the small heel tab having a yellow swoosh extending all the way to the laterals. There are purple overlays on the toe area and as the eyelets.
Black canvas material appears on the ankles, on the laterals beneath the yellow swoosh and on the vamps. The black, purple and yellow all come together on the tongue which features Nike old school athletic labeling.
