Air Jordan 5 "Stealth"

Variants are a way of keeping familiar silhouettes fresh, and Nike is a regular user of this method. In their hands, old classics make great comebacks. Not all classics receive a remix, which somewhat appeases the sneaker puritans. The Air Jordan 5 "Stealth" releases as somewhat of a variant of what we got back in 2006.

As official images have been released, we can examine this latest version to see how it differentiates from its predecessor. Let's take a closer look at the Jordan 5 "Stealth." It doesn't stray far from the original, but the slight color changes make for big changes in tone.

The color scheme has been hyper royal, black, stealth, and white and this remains the same in this updated version. One color change is the royal blue jagged edges in the midsole getting replaced with black coloring. The grey tongue with blue jumpman logo remains the same, along with blue collar lining.

The original continues the blue coloring beneath the tongue, but the updated version opts for black, also a black jumpman logo on the heel instead of blue, and features an icy blue transparent outsole unlike the original. The Air Jordan 5 "Stealth" will released in the states on March 27th via Nike.
