Nike recently treated sneaker fans to the Air Raid Jungle Gym from 1993 (which we covered here at Sneakerjawns), and now we're getting the 2014 remake. The Air Raid brand has been building some steam this year with the Air Raid Low, Air Raid Jungle Gym, and Air Raid OG, and notably the Nike Air Max 1 featuring in the Live Together Play Together Pack with a Jungle Gym colorway. On top of that, the 90s silhouette is getting releases at the beginning of the year with the Air Raid 2014 remake and the Air Raid Ray Guns. Nike works hard to keep their mainstays fresh, like the Air Force 1 silhouette. The model keeps coming like a non-stop production line. We're not complaining, Air Force 1s are timeless, and Nike does well to make interesting enough variations to keep the line from becoming stale.
The latest in the production line has a tri-color effect, another fresh take on the Nike classic. Let's take a closer look at the Nike Air Force 1 Tri Block. This Kilgore version features a tri color effect, a technique that Nike often uses on the Air Force 1. The recently announced Air Force 1 Tri Color Tie Dye features such a tri blocking design. Unlike that one, this one features all solid colors that scale to black.
At the toe its light grey, while the middle is a darker grey and a black counter and heel finishes the end. The bright red logo on the black tongue nicely contrasts with the grey and black colors. The Nike Air Force 1 Tri Block is set for launch soon at Nike.com.
