Not many of us are into name tags, especially the kind you're sometimes forced to wear at local functions and gatherings. We don't want to wear our names around like kids, but Nike sees a cash grab in the idea, banking on those who'd like a name tag on their sneakers, because that's a lot cooler. 

Perhaps these sneakers can take the place of sticky name tags for you that you wear at social events and functions, if you don't mind people staring down to read your name. There are real world applications that aren't just reliant on the cool factor, like scribbling important information or letting the world know these sneakers belong to you. 

Let's take a closer look at the Air Force 1 Name Tag. We have seen this nametag themed sneakers before, but there's a bit more detailing this time around. The uppers come decked in leather, and the swoosh has a layered effect, with a black swoosh taking up almost complete residence on a white swoosh. Beneath the name tag the tongue is made from nylon. "Hello" doesn't just appear on the tongue but the back heel and laterals feature the greeting.

Nike Raid 2014 Remake

  Nike recently treated sneaker fans to the Air Raid Jungle Gym from 1993 (which we covered here at Sneakerjawns), and now we're getting the 2014 remake.  The Air Raid brand has been building some steam this year with the Air Raid Low, Air Raid Jungle Gym, and Air Raid OG, and notably the Nike Air Max 1 featuring in the Live Together Play Together Pack with a Jungle Gym colorway.  On top of that, the 90s silhouette is getting releases at the beginning of the year with the Air Raid 2014 remake and the Air Raid Ray Guns.  The old silhouette is getting some attention from their makers, that is Nike, to give more variations to the classic style.
