Air Max 97 "Lebron Lakers"

Lakers colors are making their way onto one of the greatest silhouettes of all time thanks to arguably the greatest basketball player of all time balling for perhaps the greatest basketball team of all time, Los Angeles. We're expecting a truck load of yellow and court purple sneakers in the years to come, granted Lebron doesn't jump ship too soon.

The iconic Lakers colorway is much more marketable than the power forward's previous teams, so no wonder we're getting Lebron inspired silhouettes that aren't actually Lebrons. The Lakers superstar usually has his name on silhouettes like the Lebron 17 and 11, but this time around the Air Max 97 is the one to bear his achievements.

Let's take a look at the these kicks. The first thing you will notice is the color switch, the left side is prominently in yellow, and the right side in purple. Its split theme continues with Lebron Jersey number on the lace area and outsoles of the sneakers, 2 on the purple right and 3 on the yellow left. The outsoles and treading feature accolades achieved by the Laker superstar, "4x Champ," "4x Final MVP," "16x All Star," "4x MVP," "3x All Star MVP."

The Lebron Air Max 95 Lakers will be available on Nike.com March 30th.
