Like Giannis, Paul George is getting a contract extension lasting 5 years. Similarly, their teams didn't live up to the hype, neither of them reached the NBA finals, and a championship ring has thus eluded them. The clippers hope to get their money's worth in the next five years as well the Milwaukee Bucks with Giannis.
What can we say about these two players? They're releasing updates of their signature shoe line very soon. Since this post is all about Paul George we will discuss his sneakers. If you want in on the Zoom Freak Alphabet discuss, you can check out what we have to see about the Greek Freak and his footwear here.
Let's take a closer look at the PG 5. There's no outrageous or over the top design with Paul George's and Nike's latest outing. The black and white PG 5 keeps to the basics while looking good.
The only glimmer on the shoes is found in the orange Nike swoosh near the heel and the smaller yellow swoosh located on the opposite side forefoot, which all stands out against the black. There's some nice yellow embroidery at the forefoot also, and a touch of yellow on the tongue. This and the white sole/light blue outsoles elevate the PG 5's basic look. We're sure Nike is going to offer more exciting colors for the PG 5.
How does it hold up to the PG 4? What are the similarities and differences you may ask. The PG 5 keeps the Nike Air Dot of its predecessor. Its multidirectional lacing system will keep our foot locked down for intense on court action.
The Nike PG 5 will be available for purchase January 21st.
