Nike SB “Vertebrae“

Nike SB has long been known for their innovative and cutting-edge designs when it comes to skateboarding shoes. The latest addition to their lineup, the Nike SB Vertebrae, is no exception. This shoe is specifically designed for vert skaters, with features that cater to the unique demands of skating in a vertical ramp setting. One of the standout features of the Nike SB Vertebrae is its lightweight construction. The shoe is crafted from a combination of durable materials that provide support and protection without adding unnecessary bulk. This makes it easier for skaters to execute complex tricks and maneuvers while maintaining a high level of control and precision. The Nike SB Vertebrae also features a unique lacing system that provides a secure and snug fit. The laces are strategically placed to distribute pressure evenly across the foot, reducing the risk of discomfort or injury during high-impact landings. This ensures that skaters can focus on their performance without worrying a

Off White’s deal with Nike continues, so we’re getting one more huge drop. Another Off White x Nike Air Max 90, which appears like overkill now, but an overjoy for many fans. The new version has an upper university red color, and early mockups predict team orange, hyper jade, and bright mango will be added along. The major leaks or teases haven’t reached us yet, but we know this colorway will be a hit with Off White’s signature white and tag.

Virgil Abloh, CEO of Off White has stated their “The Ten” partnership with Nike is coming to an end. It’s not a fall from grace or cooling of branding appeal as this line of shoes is still as popular as they were in the beginning. Though it’s possible to see Virgil tiring from success, or wanting to move onto something new. Not only does he run Off White but he is the artistic director over at Louis Vuitton. He doesn’t need Nike, because his brand is super popular in itself, and as a designer, he has enough room and opportunities to blend his creative juices. But the end of Off White x Nike Air Max 90 is a loss to the fans.

His collaboration with Nike produced fine specimens of sneakers catered to the running scene. In 2017 we got the first Off White x Nike Air Max 90, of course with their signature white colors, which sparked a wildfire of follow-ups. The sneaker world was not quite the same thereafter. Even Kanye West’s wildly popular Yeezy line took a hit during the craze. Not that fan appeal had died off in any way as 40 pairs of Off White x Nike Air Max 90 released in succession, and every pair selling out.

This next one will surely follow suit. If you’re into the Off White x Nike scene you’ll understand this, the high demand and limited supply of this sneaker union. It’s crazy hard to get a pair on release day, crazy hard, so if you don’t the cost of getting one will be in the thousands when dealing with ravenous merchants. The sneakers are still making a killing on the secondary and resale markets. Founded in 1990, the Air Max has been one of Nike’s tried and true titans of sales, and add Off White’s designer and premium appeal, and you have something that will go down as a legendary pairing.

Air Max 90’s are celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2020 and the family continues to grow with this new addition launching in the summer. That’s good news since rumors were floating around a December release. For now, we’re on the lookout for more official news.
